The Moth & the Flame CD Release Show

I'm no stranger to repping Provo bands. The Crylics, Emily Brown, Book on Tape Worm, Back Chat, Gigawhat & others have entered the hallowed ground of a public Trevor Christensen Photography endorsement. It's sort of a big deal 'round these parts.

Friday, The Moth & the Flame debuted their new self titled album to a sold out Velour crowd and you guys, they seriously knocked the place down. You need to hear what they're doing. The Moth & the Flame is sounds like if all the good parts of Sigor Ros, Radiohead and Beirut got together and had the most lovable-and-slightly-intense child ever. Saturday you'll be able to buy their album on their site, howwewokeup.com.

At this point you may be saying to your self "Trevor, I'm so bummed I missed this great show! If only I could go back in time to see it live!" Well dear music lover, I have good news for you. Although time travel has not yet been perfected, they are playing a second show today, Monday the 14th, also at Velour.

So really, you have no reason to not go.
