Sometimes I want to update my blog in a really half-hearted manner, like this:
"HEY BLOG-LOOKERS. HER ARE SOME PHOTOS OF NEW YORK."
I typically try to fight that urge, since it's sort of a lazy way to go. However, a typical problem I have with blogging my photos is that I often have very little to say about my work. It's an easy excuse for sure, but I feel like my photos say enough, the work should speak for itself.
That being said, maybe you blog-lookers would benefit from this list I've made about these photos.
1. Most of these were made with film cameras. I bet you can spot the 4 digital photos in the mix.
2. A lot of these were made from the seat of a bicycle. If you ever find yourself doubting my balance, I would advice you to look at that top photo again.
3. I used a Vivtar Wide & Slim to shoot most of these photos. If you're looking for a cheap, wide film camera, pick one of those up. They're the smart man's Lomo.
4. Manhattan was an interesting place to shoot. Because there were so many tall buildings there was seldom very direct light.
5. My friend Chad hooked me up with the film I used in NYC. It's HP branded film and I can't seem to find any information on it. I like this, because it makes it mysterious. Hopefully haunted.
6. I have now run out of things to say.

That first shot is BANGERANG!
