Clarissa and Kyle are fun to be around. Part of this is because they are in love, part of this is because they're just fun people.
Originally I planned on driving up to Squaw Peak to take these photos, but when we got half way up the mountain we found ourselves facing a closed gate and a mound of snow. Because I'm such a lightning-quick thinker I said "Well, lets Head South then."
We ended up in Spanish Fork, where we found a nice park, a cool old barn and some great photos.
Kyle said that he was dreading having his picture taken a little. Why? Because he didn't want to take feet pictures.
Kyle, feet pictures aren't so bad, and I don't take that many anyway.
This is my favorite sort of photo. Genuinely happy.
On our way home we even found the barn featured in this video. I'm excited about that because I assumed that it was a few hours away. Nope.
Book on Tape Worm is one of my favorite bands. The music they make is soulful, compelling and personal. I got the chance to photograph them at Velour the other night and was, as always, thoroughly impressed.
The band has announced that they're recording an album. To fund the project they have started a Kickstarter page. They announced the project Saturday night and have since raised 1/3 of the money neededalmost half.
I know, right?
I really believe in this band. Together, Scott, Ciera and Emily make an amazing sound and I know you're going to love the fruits of their labor as much as I will. Listen to them, become a fan and find out how you can help them out in recording a new album.
