Utah Family Portraits at Squaw Peak

On Saturday I got to spend the morning with the Christensens. We went to Squaw Peak around 9:30 and spent an hour or so making some family portraits.

It was a beautiful morning and I'm really proud of these photos.

Christmas is right around the corner, and those family portraits you've been meaning to get done aren't going to take themselves. Call me up! I can help.

Utah Family Photos - Squaw Peak

I shot some family photos this morning on Squaw Peak.

Good way to start that day if you ask me.

Utah Portrait Photography - Natalie

Friends of Trevor Christensen inevitably get their picture taken. Depending on how you feel about photography this is either a great perk or a huge disadvantage.

Lucky for me, my friend Natalie is a good sport. She'll wait, patiently, in the cold rain because I want to try something new.

Like the last few portrait posts I've made, these photos are from a time lapse project I'm working on. The piece isn't finished yet, but if you'd like to see something I've done that's along the same lines, you can on Vimeo.

News: Salt City 50 & a Video (updated)

Internet, I am back from New York. It was a blast! You can read about it here.

Two things.

1. I'm in a show.

I got a piece accepted in the first Salt City 50 show! I'm especially excited because of the caliber of the other photographers accepted. I feel a little like I've snuck my way onto the big kids table.

For a list of the other photog's in the show click here (and scroll down.) For more info about Salt City 50 go to http://saltcity50.com/.

If you're in Utah come down and see me and the photos on September 10. This is a one night only thing, so you had better freaking come.

2. I made a short video.

Time Lapse Proof of Concept from Trevor Christensen on Vimeo.

It's a proof of concept time lapse piece that I put together. You can see it on Vimeo here. Tell me what you think about it.

Ok, until next time.

Update: 9/27

I initially neglected to mention that the photographer appearing in these photos is the talented Jalene Taylor. She was nice enough to let me tag along with her while she did her thing. Thanks Jalene.

Provo Photography - Dylan Chadwick

For the last few months I've been working on a time-lapse video. As part of the piece I've asked a few friends to pose for some portraits. Here are a few stills from the project.

For the next few days I'm going to be posting photos of each person appearing in the project. Today's featured friend is Dylan Chadwick.
